What differentiates Etihad Airways?

You’ll notice the Etihad Airways difference from the moment your journey begins. Whichever of the airlines’ three guest travel classes you choose – Diamond First, Pearl Business or Coral Economy – you’ll find new levels of comfort and luxury when you travel with Etihad Airways.

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates and the fast-growing Gulf airline, has enjoyed stunning success at the World Travel Awards, taking the top honor for the three years in a row 2009-2010-2011. It was named the World’s Leading Airline at a black-tie gala event in Doha, Qatar. The judges also presented Etihad Airways with awards for the World’s Leading First Class and World’s Leading Airline to the Middle East.

Etihad Airways is considered as one of the youngest airlines in the world, yet it managed to seize a leading place within the aviation industry. Etihad Airways received the 2008 Marketing Award of the “Airline Strategy Awards”, one of the most recognised awards in the industry, just five years after starting commercial operations, followed by many international awards. This early success can be attributed to the marketing strategy employed by Etihad, which resulted in creating a strong brand associated with a high quality service.

Some of the awards Etihad Airways has received in 2012 are the Best Airline in the Middle East by the Premier Traveler, the Airline of the Year by Aviation Business Awards, World’s Best First Class, the Best First Class Catering  and the Best First Class Seat by Skytrax Awards.

In 2013 Etihad Airways has received the World’s Leading Airline award by the World Travel Awards Middle East and the World’s Leading Airline First Class award by the World Travel Awards Middle East.
