From its home base, Kuala Lumpur International Airport and with a secondary hub at Kuching , Malaysia Airlines operates its flights to 60 destinations in Southeat Asia, East Asia, South Asia, Middle East, Europe and Australia. The company had its headquarters Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport and moved it – reportedly – to KLIA early this year. Malaysia Airlines fleet consists of 112 aircrafts, mainly Boeing 737-400s , Boening 737-800, and Boeing 777- 200ER .
Business Class features reclining seats and footrests. Movies, news and documentaries are available through the Portable Media Player (PMP) for flights of 3 hours and over. Economy class is available on all of Malaysia Airlines’ fleet with personal TV located behind each seat, and a footrest located below the seat in front. Economy Class was voted the World’s Best Economy Class at the 2010 World Airline Awards by Skytrax.
